Final Submission Deadlines

On these dates, all finished theses and dissertations, plus all necessary paperwork, must be turned in to the UDTS Office by 5:00 p.m. in order for the student to qualify for graduation in that semester. Upcoming Final Submission deadlines are as follows:

Fall 2015: 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015

Spring 2016: 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016

Format Review Deadline

By 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, you must have received an email from UDTS, sent by the Coordinator, Sally Evans, stating that your formatting is in good shape, and your Format Review is over. That means that you have to have passed the Format Review by that date/time. If you do not have an email by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7 from Sally Evans stating that you have passed the Format Review, then you will not be eligible to graduate in the Fall 2015 semester.

We will do no Format Reviews (either first-time or subsequent) between 5:01 p.m. on Monday, December 7, and 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15. We will begin reviewing documents again on Tuesday, December 15.

Fall 2015 Workshops

We have scheduled Workshops for the Fall 2015 Semester. We're offering a 30-minute overview regarding the process you must complete in order to graduate, and a 1-hour introduction to our Interactive Template. We have both a PC version and a Mac version.

To sign up for these workshops, please visit this site. There, under "Category," please choose "Dissertation & Thesis Services." You will be able to view our scheduled Workshops andregister for any/all of them.

Arlington & Science & Technology Campus Hours

In addition to our regular hours at the Fairfax campus, in C-203 Fenwick Library (Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), we're offering hours on the Arlington campus and the Science & Technology (formerly Prince William).

When we're on the Arlington campus, we'll be in the Arlington Campus Library, located in Founders Hall, in room 349.

When we're on the Science & Technology campus, we'll be in Mercer Library, at the front desk.

At either/both campuses, we're available to meet with you for information sessions, formatting issues, Submission Consultations, and Final Submission appointments.

If you'd like to meet with us on any campus, you can view our upcoming availability and make an appointment through this site. There, you'll be able to see our schedule and set up a meeting. When you make the appointment AND when you receive your confirmation email, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE SELECTED THE CORRECT CAMPUS.
