The path toward achieving your Master's degree or PhD can be a long and arduous one. It can be complicated, stressful, and frustrating.
But that's why UDTS is here.
We exist to help Mason graduate students prepare, format, and complete their theses, dissertations, and projects, and to turn them in CORRECTLY and ON TIME.
We'll help walk you through the process; we'll review your document to make sure the formatting is correct; we'll make sure you have all of the tools you need; and we'll answer any questions you have. Our goal is to make this time as stress-free as possible for you.
We're also here to assist GMU faculty and staff in need of information and/or assistance regarding the preparation and submission of dissertations, theses, and projects.
You may want to consult our FAQs page; answers to many questions may be found there.
Fall 2015: Friday, December 11 at 5:00 p.m.
Spring 2016: Friday, April 29 at 5:00 p.m.
By 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, you must have received an email from UDTS, sent by the Coordinator, Sally Evans, stating that your formatting is in good shape, and your Format Review is over. That means that you have to have passed the Format Review by that date/time. If you do not have an email by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7 from Sally Evans stating that you have passed the Format Review, then you will not be eligible to graduate in the Fall 2015 semester.
We will do no Format Reviews (either first-time or subsequent) between 5:01 p.m. on Monday, December 7, and 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15. We will begin reviewing documents again on Tuesday, December 15.
